This still doesn't justify their behavior. Simply stating "because that's how they are", isn't a solution. It's ignoring the problem and basically saying "deal" or "adapt". I'm not planning on changing anything over night, or even throughout my time on these forums, but I can at least bring it to people's attention and let them know it's NOT okay, considering nobody else seems to be saying it.
