Thanks. When I was younger, I wanted to be a writer. I still do enjoy the odd story. The only problem is that I can never finish a big story. I have a lot of ideas, I just need to get around to it.

yeah man, I have that same problem. I've got like 7 or 8 stories going right now but I cant seem to finish ANY of them.

The difficult thing that I find is suppressing the techno babble. I want to tell everything about the universes I create; however, it goes into way too much detail.

lolz, I kind of have that problem. For me, its more like my mind loses interest then picks it back up a month later.

I just come up with this massively detailed universe. Then I somehow have to shove that into a format that doesn't require spending all your spare time to understand.

mhm but you want to do it in a way where you arent shoving down the readers throat.

Exactly. Finding the right balance where you give them enough information for them to fill in the blanks without forcing it to them.
