Too bad there are multiple galaxies in Star Wars.

 • Star Wars civilizations only inhabit 1 galaxy, and 2 smaller cousin galaxies, one of them is the rishi maze. The other galaxy is where the chiss originate from and there is very little lore about it. The yuuzhan vong also come from another galaxy, but there is no lore about theirs either. So it doesn't matter that star wars has multiple galaxies when 2 of them are extremely small, and we barely know anything about 2 of them.

 • Hardly. Unless you know of some piece of lore I don't (in which case I apologize), the only hints we have of other galaxies are those visited by the Yuuzhan Vong (wiped out), and wherever Darth Revan went. All life of Star Wars lore would be wiped out by a single blast of the Halo Array (unless Force). Fortunately for Star Wars, I don't really think the Haloverse would do that, considering the OP didn't specify where they were fighting. Thus, they would wipe themselves out as well. But they could and, knowing the Didact, might.

 • The Yuuzahn Vong galaxy. While the Vong ravaged it, there are still planets and space capable of holding a fleet. Also there are the Unknown regions. Although, as their names suggests, we don't know if it considered its own galaxy or is just part of the known galaxy.
