monthly fee?
A few days back my friend said that there will be a monthly fee to play online. Is that true? I hope not. We're already paying for the game $60 why more?

It's an all online game that would be stupid if they charged so i say that Bungie is reasonable not to charge.

Hit your friend with a plastic chair. Bungie has stated that [i]Destiny[/i] won't require a subscription. Fun fact: [i]Elder Scrolls Online[/i] will.

Nope false it's not like that you need gold membership for xbox but short of that the game itself does not have a monthly fee

If you are on an xbox 360/one you'll need live gold, if you're on a ps3 it's free, ps4 you need playstation plus. No monthly fee for the game, just the fee for online capabilities with your choice system.

1 ReplySince nobody truly and honestly answered your question without calling out your friend, I'll give it to you straight. Awhile back Bungie has confirmed that once you buy Destiny and you pay for the appropriate online service (XBL/ PSN) then you will be good to go and play the game for however long you want. That being said, micro transactions will most likely make some form of appearance in Destiny.
