This weeks game is Halo 4 on the Xbox 360, and will be played on Saturday, July 13th at noon Bungie time. (3PM EST, 8PM GMT)
The lobby size is 16 players with 8 slots going to each team. To sign up, post your gamertag and your team. (Red or Blue.)
Make sure you are ready to play at least 15 minutes before the stated time, as it will take time to invite all players to the game lobby. If you have been selected (It's first come, first serve.) you will receive an invite to the game around the stated time. Immediately accept the invite. The two teams will compete in five rounds on various maps and gametypes. The team that wins 3 out of 5 rounds will win the point for this week. We'll play more casual games after the standard competitive ones.
This all seems very formal and strict, but don't worry, it's all quite chill! At the end of the day, it's just a bunch of people playing games together.
This is a Carnage Event in association with the Bungie Summer League. This is a more competitive (But still fun!) variation of the standard Community Carnage model. The premise is a Red Team and a Blue Team duke it out over the summer to gain victory over the other. Your team is consistent throughout the summer and beyond. For more information, you can check out the groups "About" page here. To join Red Team, follow the group here. To join Blue Team, follow the group here.
There is no obligation to play once you've joined, and I'd highly recommend you try it out. 9/10 doctors agree!
