Halo just -blam!-ing mind -blam!- me.
After finishing Halo: Silentium, i noticed a quote which for some reason just...struck me. The Isodidact asks Chakas (now 343 Guilty Spark) "if he would fire the rings, were it his choice".
And look at this quote from 343 Guilty Spark on the Halo: CE level - Two Betrayls:
343 Guilty Spark: "Last time, you asked me, if it were my choice, would I do it? Having had considerable time to ponder your query, my answer has not changed."
In short, I love Halo.

5 RepliesI remember reading speculation of Halo 3's plot back in '07, and this quote was interpreted to suggest that Master Chief went back in time to fire the Halo's 100,000 years ago. Fun times.
