I see this post too God-blam much.....and I've only seen it 3 times!!!! So I ask the same question as I asked the others.....ARE YOU HIGH!!!!!!!! What is with people?!?! Why would want this game for the Wii U?!?!?! IT MAKES NOOOOOO SENSE!!!!!

Look, obviously you two have played on the Wii U and like it, and I have and don't like it, so just understand that I live in a country with freedom of speech, and that you need to allow me to go on my rants and raids, cause I know that I'll never amount to anything and I need to make myself feel better, nothing I say is meant to intentionally harm anyone's feelings, and or enrage them to the point where they have to call someone a [i]moronic idiot[/i]. Please untwist your panties and speak coherently. The Wii U is a fine console, specifically identified as a casual gamer console and extremely well done for first party games. However, it doesn't fit into Destiny's identity and would therefore be too much of a risk for Bungie to port to. I would highly advise reading this as someone genuinely curious about the situation and read those replies that were well thought out and not just bashing the Wii U. Might understand this thread a little bit better. Also this comment does nothing for your credibility towards other discussions, or maturity level.

You called it a console, it's a portable gaming device and it actually has worse hardware and thusly, less capabilities than a PS3 or Xbox 360. Plus, the Wii U and generally anything made by Nintendo is considered to be more for nostalgic, cartoonish, or childish games. They do produce some good games for Nintendo products, but they tend to have lower age ratings, most higher age rated games are for Playstation, Xbox, and PC.

The Wii U gamepad can be used as a portable gaming device, but the actual Wii U is a console in the same sense as an xbox/playstation. I am unsure where you are making the claim that the Wii U has worse hardware than the 360/PS3. Could you provide your source?

Just in general, you can look up the specs and some of the Wii U's is better, but most of the Xbox 360's and PS3's specs are better. I consider the gamepad to be the actual Wii U, I find it relatively stupid to release a console that uses a portable device because it often means the graphics of the game must be lowered, it also may creates delays in commands if the connection is bad. There are some ways around this, but it is honestly not worth the time to go into, and for developers it would be a waste of time for them to alter their product to work for such a system. I do not have anything against the Wii U, I just see that it is not fit for such games as Destiny or any game with high amounts of gore, realistic graphics (this does not mean having necessarily good graphics because this could depend on the art style as well), or games that require focus as I see it to be more for leisure, nostalgia, and cartoony games. I will admit the GPU and RAM of the Wii U is better, but nearly every other piece of hardware in it is worse and this does matter, also the Wii U has a small market for violent games and shooters like Destiny. Some of this does not go into vivid detail but bear with it, also I do not hate the Wii U or anything like that, it just does not seem to be a good idea to put Destiny on it.
