Because traditionally, 3rd party games don't sell well on the Wii/Wii U system. Nintendo is a great company, and it makes great games and I love them. But their system is mainly tailored for their first party games. I am not saying the Wii U isn't capable of handling Destiny, because it is, its just not a good financial investment for Bungie to port the game to the Wii U. The costs outweigh the risks of it being successful on the console.
(Opinion) To me, most people usually have a Wii/Wii U in conjunction with another system (Xbox or Playstation usually) if they are wanting to play the Nintendo first party games. Especially if they label themselves as a hardcore gamer. Its all about identity. Most players who identify themselves as a player who wants to play Destiny, also identify themselves as a hardcore gamer. Hardcore gamers identify themselves with a "hardcore system" which unfortunately the Wii/Wii U has not had that identity. The Wii/Wii U has an identity as a casual player system. This brings us back to the risk being too great for Bungie to port the game to Wii U.
Hope this is informative enough for you and that you're not going to ignore me because I provided a thought-out response and that this doesn't label me as "stupid"

Why do you think I would call you "Stupid" for posting a good answer?

Honestly, I was more expecting the ignore situation. You haven't responded to any well thought out claims as to why Destiny won't be found on the Wii U. The only time you've replied to comments on your post are those people bashing the Nintendo. If you posted this thread to discuss why Wii U isn't getting Destiny, then you've completely ignored your goal. If you're here to defend Nintendo against short-sighted people who don't appreciate it, awesome, but kinda pointless. If you want to share your opinion and not discuss other possibilities, write a blog.

No, I actually wanted some reasons on why Destiny wouldn't be on the Wii U, and some people gave me valid reasons. I'm not just gonna respond "oh okay" to everyone. I'm only calling the trolls stupid, the ones saying "Nintendo is gay" and stuff like that.

That's great and all, but if you didn't post this for back and forth discussion, then why did you post it?

Because I couldn't think of any reason why Destiny shouldn't be for the Wii U, so I was genuinely asking people for some plausible answers.
