Recently i downloaded all the GBA games for my Ambassador thing for 3DS. One of those games just so happened Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Curious, since I hear about the great success of these games in Japan, I started playing it.
I must say, this is a pretty damn good game. I adore strategy RPG's and Fire Emblem has it just right. I now want to go out and get FE: Awakening.
So question: What's your opinion on the Fire Emblem series? Have you played any of them?

I thoroughly enjoyed Awakening Let me say this: The Avatar (your created unit) can be broken as all hell if you make him/her right. My Setup was this (I'll be referring to her by the name I gave her, Shana) First I made her a Mercenary to get Armsthrift, a skill which gives you a percent chance to not use up a weapon charge determined by your luck stat * 2 meaning if you have 50 luck you can use a weapon infinitely (the luck cap is 48 if you aren't paired up with a unit) after I got her to 10, I'd make Shana into a thief, then into an assassin Assassin's are pretty damn powerful and their avoidance is THROUGH THE ROOF. Example: I had her and Chrom (The character I had her marry, who is also the other main character) do a fight alone just for shits and giggles. and I paired them up. They didn't land a single blow on her and she slaughtered them all. Seriously. The only time she was in any real danger was if an enemy had Counter, but that can easily be bypassed with a bow, (Assassins can use Swords and bows) Assassin's get a skill called Lethality at 15 (Remember Colm's crit which insta killed? That's Lethality) At 20, they get Pass. (They can move thru enemies) Also, If you have a child, they obtain the most recent skill the mother and father had. All in all, I'd recommend getting it Oh right, and Fredrick is your Seth. (Not sure if Seth was in Sacred Stones)
