Why do people make such a big deal out of sex?
I don't understand it. Of course I know it's in our genetic code and all that but why put it on such a high pedestal. For most people it's like EVERYTHING.
Now I'm not someone that rly has much room to talk because I think about sex all the time and I'm a stupidly crazy pervert.
And I've never had sex so I guess I wouldn't know what all the fuss is about even though I want it.
But as much as I think about sex, I just gave up on it, sex and girlfriends and all of that nonsense. It's really no use for me to care about it since I'm probably not getting it while I'm in High school.
But I'm still curious, give me a normal explanation for why it's so important and why it's so revered and whatnot.

Wouldn't say it's important It's fun if people involved are good at it As far as a partner goes it's great to think that someone loves you out of their own will, (not forced like parenthood)

It's good,but I don't understand the hype.Given the choice between death and a life without sex,I'd choose life,but there are many who would rather death.I don't think I'll ever understand why people would want to kill or die for it.

It's not too great, and it's like a dance of death kind of..I mean you have to trust them, Trust the method of protection you use, Trust yourself..And if for a moment you can't, you'll mess up, make someone feel really awkward or really embarrassed, ruin something that could have been, definitely a lot of variables. Also babies..babies are by products of this sex thing...Again, dance of death.

The moment I gave up on all that was when my big crush asked me out and we -blam!-ed... Lifes weird like that.... Ignore the people that say never give up.... But yeah sex isnt all that great but definitely a fun thing to do...

Just societal pressure. Thankfully I've always been apathetic to the beliefs of others. I'm not having sex until I'm ready for children, doesn't mean I haven't had plenty of fun with women.

2 Repliesi remember thinking I was unattractive in highschool, but it was really because my graduating class was 37 people and no one dated each other because it would be too awkward. Then I got to college and was informed by 3 sorority girls my 2nd day there that I was 'pretty hot' and had 'great potential'. Not sure what the 2nd one meant, but after some investigation, apparently I am attractive... Who knew?
