The Enemy to Fear
Considering what class you pick and the way you fight, what enemy (we know of so far) will give you the most difficulty?

I say Fallen because, in halo, the Hunters are easy to kill if you know how and they're like the Cabal. The Fallen are like Elites, and Elites are hard as crap to kill.

1 ReplyI'd say The Vex, because we barely know anything about them. And the one thing we do know about them being that they can use time travel, makes the range of their abilities huge.

As a Warlock, I think the Cabal is my kryptonite. They're big, heavy firepower and if they are a military race, I expect them to be positioned in such a way that you can't get behind them easily.

Hive. As a swift, fragile, single target burst oriented player, it'll be difficult to defeat something just as fast as me but in much greater numbers

5 RepliesBefore i watched Devils Lair i thought the cabal would be the most dificult because of thier tankish style and massive size mixed with inpenetrable armor. After Devils Lair i realized that the Hive might be dangerous they will be like grunts in halo they may be weak but thier numbers can be deadly and from what ive seen they like close quarters seeing how they took down a Titan in seconds when he was surrounded

Titan, I chose Cabal because Rock vs. Rock is a tough thing to beat.

Hive, because its a mix of alien,zombie, vampires, cave dwellers,boogeyman,necrophilia and nightmares. Also remembering the destinygame.com page on them, they currently sleep in coffin like ships.

I've honestly got to go with the cabal. Say that I'm a Titan, of course I'm going to be a titan, and I use my fist of havoc. if there was any enemy race that I thought could shrug off that, it would be the Cabal. They, basically, are all tanks except for the one class. Tanks vs Tanks makes for a real mess.

Cabal, tank people coming at you from every direction isn't a good thing in my book.

Being a Hunter class with a Marksmen (Sniper) playstyle, it would be the Hive. Sticking to the shadows and to cover will give me advantages, but if I'm discovered, I feel they will be difficult, considering they are very fast, and nimble and travel in groups...like the Flood from Halo.

1 ReplyCabals will be my weakness... I play using the map a lot, thinking strategically and using the map to my advantage, as well as I love melee and close range finishing... I can imagine Cabals won't move much, not giving me much choice to using the map, and also they probably are not the kind of enemy you would want to confront up close! So yeah will have to go outside my comfort zone for these mother-blam!-ers :P

Seeing how the hive are made to remind us of the undead flood, I feel like they're the most likely to swarm us with enemies

I feel like the Cabal would be the most dangerous. Aside from being giant hulking beasts, they are very militaristic and organized. Their strength and tactics would prove to be quite difficult

Vex since they can time travel which I think might include spaceslipping from one place to another like Prometheans and Rixis Archonslayer. Hive would be my secondary choice since they could overwhelm you in great numbers.
