The Wii U is more powerful than current consoles. It's CPU is weak though, you'll find that's the most complained about thing by Devs. The Cell is still more powerful than it. That's like the reason why several PS3 games can look so good. I mean, have you seen Killzone 2 or 3 or Uncharted 2 or 3, or The last of us? No game looks as good as the last of us that's on current consoles, on a technical level.
