I don't know if every single person here has something they enjoy enough to consider themselves passionate for it. So if you can't pick the next best thing if possible, at least then I'm sure you can come up with something. It doesn't have to be anything specific, it can even exist only as an abstraction if you wish.
I suppose I should start this off by supplying my own contribution.
I'm passionate about my progress, and my contribution to humanity. My progress possibly being the more important of the two, because it is what will allow me to give the contributions I wish to give.
I didn't come to realization that I wanted to cement my future into both physics and astronomy until my senior year of high school, and I can safely say that before that time period I held very little, if any kind of foresight. Because of this, I'm getting a bit of a late start. I'm going to have to place a level 6 on my placement exam at a community college in order to start with Calc right off the bat. Afterwords it'd be onto the physics courses they offer (the fairly few that they have sadly,) and switching to a University through a transfer program later on.
With such a rough start it may take awhile to progress to the later stages of this journey I've set down for myself, however it's one of the few things I'm determined to accomplish. I try my best to not be idealistic in this however, I don't plan to make jumps as large as relativity, or QED. I don't know if I'll discover something as amazing as the Huge-LQG, those "options" or possibilities are much further down the road. However just to be able to get close to those possibilities would be of great significance to me.
I find it funny that we can type things out like this, but behave so differently than what the words used can imply about a person.
It sounds stupid, but the game of (American)Football. I don't know why, but I guess you could say I love it. I love playing it, watching it, and even learning it. Funny thing is; I honestly don't even know why.
