I seriously question how you even manage to say "I am a Republican" without the slightest feeling of shame or stupidity.
All you Americans who worship Rand Paul for spending 13 hours basically paraphrasing what the Obama Administration has said about its drone policy (Both Rand Paul and Obama agree that drones should only be used against Americans in extreme conditions) really do amaze me on how Americans fail to learn anything from their mistakes (George Bush).
That coupled with the fact that Rand Paul wants to illegalize abortions (along with fellow Republican Rick Perry who wants to dispose of the income tax along with direct election of senators) really makes me wonder how far Republicans will go to deprive the Country of its rights.
I also question why Republicans dont understand the meaning of "control". Gun control doesnt mean taking away your guns, it means making it harder for criminals/mentally ill people from shooting up your stupid kids.
Edit:
Then theres Donald Trump who believed Obama wasn't born in the United States (well how did he gain presidency then?) and praised Dennis Rodman (who absolutely did nothing) as an excellent diplomat (lol).
But maybe Donald Trump and Mitt Romney really do have a point, why should Obama be taking money from the top 5% (let alone the top 1% who own more than 40% of the nation's wealth).

The direct election of senators was not initially in the Constitution, it was added in the 17th Amendment. His reasoning for wanting the removal of this amendment? I would suppose the same as the reason it was left out of Section II of Article I, which was to give states their method for protecting the sovereignty upon the Federal stage. As for the drones, really? Comparing Obama's drone policy to that of Paul? No crap both would use drones in extreme circumstances, but really? What of the fact that four American have been killed (I'll give you al-Awlaki, so let us call it three) by strike under Obama? What of the ambiguity in the Justice Department's message regarding drone policy? Pulling out the Bush card is ridiculous at this point, especially considering his authorization of drone attacks were far less promiscuous. For abortion, they believe that an unborn child is still a human who deserves protection under the law. Is there anything truly vile or chauvinistic about that? As for gun control, you are partially correct. Gun control does not inherently mean taking away guns. Note the word I used: inherently. It is perfectly rational for them to fear that, if left to fate, guns would eventually be taken away with more useless and unsuccessful Assault Weapon Bans.
