Here me out. Really, I think this could be a really cool idea Imagine if you could buy a Bungie t-shirt of any of the avatars on the site including any of your archived Halo emblems A high-res version of the avatar would be used and maybe even some of the more popular ones could get their own more custom designs other than just the avatar slapped on a t-shirt. So, What do you guys think? *
*I do think this is a good idea but this was really just a way to test out the handwriting recognition program that came with my new Bamboo.
Update: I was thinking, maybe Bungie could partner with Society 6. There is no validation process required; as long as there is a high-enough-res image of the design, you can put it on shirts (and many other things) and have them available for sale.
All Bungie would need would be higher-res versions of the avatars and emblem components, which I'm sure is not too difficult to do (unless it is in which case... whatever). Then, they add a shirt to their shop as they get ordered at no cost to them. They will make a profit on each shirt without putting up any money to make it.
If there is one sort of product that I dislike seeing a game company sell, it's clothing items. Generally price well beyond comparable clothing, and generally of inferior quality I, even as a fan, cannot justify the purchase of them. That being said, if I were to suggest a company to work through, TreeHouse Brand Stores has been doing some good work for a variety of game company clients (including 343i). I've been buying lithographs and other artwork through their store fronts.

I can't in good conscience vote for the good idea option and you know damn well why. I don't know how my avatar would work for this. :(
-
Or better yet, you would be able to customize your own Bungie shirt using Bungie related stuff and avatars. That way I wouldn't have my avatar plastered onto the front of the shirt. I think that would look stupid, but if I could get in like, a shoulder, I wouldn't mind that.

It sounds cool, but is not that interesting for Bungie to get involve with that, who knows.
-
I'd be keen on buying a Goldhawk t-shirt, and i'm sure many of my fans* would be too. *Fan^ ^Some guy who's stalking me" "It's Delta, okay.

Not a bad idea. I'd certainly love to spread the DE4THINC4RN4TE™ brand.

Did you think of this after that interview where DeeJ had a shirt with his avatar on it?
-
I've always wanted a t-shirt of my emblem with my GT on the back. I always envisioned it on a dark gray shirt with a 'weathered'or worn looking emblem.

My fanclub could finally expand

It would be cool even if they had Bungie and Destiny shirts with your gamertag on the back.
-
I'd like this.
this was really just a way to test out the handwriting recognition program that came with my new Bamboo.
I'll be honest, I had to read this a couple of times. But this idea is pretty damn cool. You have my support.
