If you could prevent any game from being released....what would it be?
It can be any game, including ones that have already come out.
My choice would be COD 4. If that game didn't come out, COD wouldn't be all the rage and the console market would have way more creative games.

Arena game play meant teleporters and jump pads with futuristic skaters getting blown to giblets. Where rocket jumps were awesome. Spaceships swooshed around tight corridors pursued by maniac robots in endless space mines. You could shrink ray someone and make a quip while stepping on them. You hit right, right, when the corridor lit up and your cartoon character continued his quest to save the princess. You rode on a giant flying ostrich and butt murdered other riders reducing them to eggs. When four ghosts chased after you in a maze of no escape and tiny bread crumb trails to follow but with no end in sight. A giant monkey threw barrels at you, or a turtle dragon over lord awaited within a castle, and if you died you started over. You pulled the handle back and it was all you as you ruffed up the pin ball machine to keep that metal ball in play. Shoots and ladders to Monopoly... Games were the best before what ever it is you like now and Halo has to go.... Not really, but damn all this butt hurt over COD is really hilarious. E.T. the game could have done with a permenant break that's for sure, that and Russian Roullette.

Cod 1 so no cods would be made. That in effect might stop twelve year old screaming, cod wanna-bees (halo 4), copy&paste games hopefully, no perks, people would think games with skill might sell more, etc. I wonder what would happen without cod.

Then mine would be letting the Halo franchise stop at Halo 3 or Aliens: Colonial Marines.

2 RepliesMetroid Prime. I didnt really like it, and according to World Records, Metroid Prime is the most critically aclaimed Sci-Fi game. Halo is second. So if Metroid Prime never released, Halo would be the best Sci-Fi Shooter.

Gears of War: Judgement aka nowhere close to being a gow game. It's ten times the disgrace that Halo 4 was.

To all who wish that CoD ended at some point or will end with or before the next release; What is it that you wish to accomplish by eliminating the game series that by far has the highest player count on XBL? I see all this CoD hate with no reasoning for it. If it were no more, the people who play it would not play anything. So what good would come from eliminating it? If you don't like it, don't play it. It isn't that hard. I admittedly play and enjoyed the games from MW up to MW3, but not so much the most recent one. I play it because that is where the bulk of my FL is. But until something better comes along, this is about all there is, for me.

Just say, hey Bungie, go back to the drawing board and try again. None of this "Halo Reach with a biotic power on one of the bumpers" silliness.
