Does Bungie actually read the Fan Fics?
Now I'm an author and I know that there are a ton of other amazing stories out there on the forums. While they are designed for the community, wouldnt it be cool if people from Bungie actually read them. I mean it seems like Bungie focuses on the art and paintings, which are definitely amazing and worthy of praise, but so are some stories out there on the forums also worthy of praise. So why doesn't Bungie ever talk about those?

2 RepliesI once wrote one about a secret love affair between Halcylon and I. Our families did not approve but we fought through the adversity, anyways. I know Bungie read it because I received a cease and desist letter as well as a restraining order.

Actually, a bit time later of the release of Destiny, i want write a fanfic too. Just we need the game... I WANT YHE GAME FOR MOAR INSPIRATION :D

Most likely not. As George RR Martin said, Its its very easy to start trying to skirt around peices that stray to close to the truth and rewriting sections. That way nothing ever gets done.

I at one point wanted to put one of my stories on the site. Unfortunately when I went to the gallery; all I saw were fan fictions of Halo. So my initial reaction was "Nope" and proceeded to keep to myself and kept reading what was there.

5 RepliesI wonder this my self. I am no pro i got good ideas but i am no Joseph Staten. Or David Drake or even Robert A.Heinlein. I love to write my self but do not see getting a job as a writer as i have not so great grammar ect. Last thing i expect is any one to hire me. I love to write for fun. I agree Op some great stories to tell. Bungie might need an eye break with all that code they look at all day. Might be another reason why. I do wonder if Bungie reads what we write.
