You live in a world where every family has a select power. You must chose what power/family you want to associate with.
Cross breading is impossible, powers will cancel each other out.

Bending is the most practical really going Earth > Water > Air > Fire, since no matter where you are on Earth, there is Earth.

I would say invisibility, but psychokinesis seems to be more useful to my life. Also Sylar. 'Nuff said.
