What... an amazing game. One of my all time favourite games in a while. Everything about it was just so polished and the story was too good.
Do you think it will become a series since Sony already trademarked a 2 and 3?
Joel lied to Ellie at the end. It was to be expected considering how much he cares for her
Did the ending make sense to you guys? I thought it was alright.
ND originally said Ellie would never be playable. Look at that surprise we got. My favourite section without a doubt.
Last if us was faaaaaaaantastic. Has become one of my favorites

I like how many variables there are to the ending like
how Joel might've actually been correct about more people being naturally immune when he "lied" to Ellie.
-
it was awesome i liked it i didnt want it to end.
if there is a sequel it will probably be about Ellie's immunity spreading or something like that. it is too important to the Last of Us universe to just let her die without passing along the immunity in some way.

Some -blam!-er on the forum said Ellie shoots Joel but the bastard was lying.
Edited by Nephilim713: 6/23/2013 4:50:33 AMOn the topic of a sequel......
ND already said that Joel and Ellie's story is done. They told what they wanted to tell
How do you think a sequel would work?
O thought Ellie starring for the last scene was a hint of her being the protagonist of the next game. Maybe their story is finished but they will still be in the game somehow?
was the ending any good i would love to play the game but i don't have a ps3

Edited by Xmark120: 6/22/2013 11:01:47 PMLike I already wrote in another thread:
I like everything about it: - The multiplayer, - the campaign. But I do have a grip with it, it's not really survival horror, it's way too linear to be it, IMO. Also, the atmosphere isn't twisted on the level that it would give me chills. I also hate the fact how some reviews mentioned that it's the best survival horror game ever made. Silent Hill 2 would like to have a word with those people.
I was driven practically to tears at multiple points in the story. I absolutely loved the ending.
Joel decided that humanity wasn't worth saving and that control of the cure would only create more chaos for humanity after he saw how relentless and uncompationate people were, even resorting to killing their own kind without any concern or hesitation. He believes that Ellie's life is worth more than humanity and I agree with him...
It was a very different conclusion to what I was expecting and I'm glad that it surprised me that way. One of the best stories I've ever experienced and I've seldom felt so attached to the relationship between two characters.

Easily amazing!

I'm not really into zombie games at all. What makes this one so much better than all the other rehashed cliche' ones? I'd like to know because I actually have a PS3 but haven't turned it on in months lol

I am playing it on survivor now. No listen mode is seriously intense. So limited on supplies as well. I am up to chapter 5 atm. So far it has been a good run. Anyone else trying to platinum it? I realize there is a survivor + difficulty as well so I may have to play it one more time.

Joel: the most like able villain in video game history
i would have done the same thing
Edited by Barack Obama: 6/21/2013 4:36:43 AM
I too loved when we switched over to Ellie. And David was played by Nolan North(Nathan Drake)!
I don't see why it wouldn't make sense. It was pretty straightforward. But yeah, it was indeed a brilliant game.
