It's the Internet. It's like a stereotypical wife. She yells at you because you never buy her flowers. When you go out and buy her flowers she complains and accuses you saying you must be guilty for something that's why you're buying her flowers. It's a lose lose with this place.

An option " offline" mode where you have to use discs, but can still play, and a "family" mode where you can share games, give your friends games, not use discs, all that awesome stuff, etc.

Problem is when you put stipulations in that is not feasible due to life happening. What about guys in the military or People who travel allot or even areas where Internet does not exist ? Being able to take a X-box any place and game,watch movies ect on it should be #1. Internet is a bonus but that should be up to the Dev and if they are able to link up to internet and X-box live. Thing i loved about every X-box is you could take it on the go. The thing is Microsoft needs to talk to real Gamers not entertainers. Not people who get paid by X-box but average joes like you an me. I hope they do bring it back but in a more moderate way. Thing is you have it extreme way or the more relaxed way. If you can find a middle ground i am sure people will be open minded. They were against used games and wanted to force people to go to where they said it was ok to trade in there games. The Check ins with the Security Features made me feel like i was playing my computer as was having to be online. All i ask is to be able to play games take my X-box where i want and have fun. Heck if i go to some ones house its cool to hook up the Next Box with or with out internet as one cannot know these things in advance all the time. Pro tip i do not mind buying digital copy's but i like to play it off line if i need to. Things in life happen. Things we cannot expect. If a situation arises with a roommate not paying a internet bill that is a problem. The new one just did not account for the Human or Weather Factor. What if a tornado prevents you from accessing the internet. I just ask my system is flexible to meet my gaming needs as well as give me entertainment should i be unable to connect to the internet. Disks are a good thing as you can put it in and not have to be Connected to X-box live constantly.

I was against the 24 hour limit but I like the new way games worked. It's still a net gain for MS in my book, but it would've been more points for them if they were still treating games as digital as well as physical property.
