Why no Destiny for the Wii U

To my understanding, the Wii U is similar in capabilities to the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Why is Destiny being released for those consoles, but not the Wii U?

Install base sizesnd that is it. I'm sure if there were more then Destiny would go to Wii U.
