How does 1 click bid work on eBay?
I'm currently the highest bidder on an item, but I tried to bid $120 and instead it went to $106 and now I cant raise it at all. It was working last night but it's down to less than an hour and I'm a little new to this. I don't want to lose the bid.
My current bid is set to 106 and my maximum bid is set at 120. I don't understand this bidding system at all. I don't want a maximum bid for myself. Why can't I just bid however I want?
This is really confusing and frustrating.

2 RepliesI don't know what one click bidding is, but it works like this: You've set your maximum bid, so if anyone bids anything below that, you're still ahead of them, but the price isn't raised to your max bid unless somebody bids it to that.
