If you look at that shirt and DeeJ's avatar they are the same, just different colours. So that means this is the symbol for the FOTC or at least something to do with them. Many people think that FOTC is some weapons manufacturer or faction in the game. It could be either or both of those but there is something else. A while ago I messaged DeeJ about his avatar and how he is the only one with it. He is how it went:
Charlemagne: What does your avatar depict? It isn't geomancy like the others, it's different.
DeeJ: It's not geomancy. War is a science. With rules to be applied.
What I meant about geomancy is that the other "particle" images (the ones made up of a series of dots) are a part of geomancy. I'm not going into detail on what they is unless you all really want to know.
The FOTC has something to do with scientific warfare. This could mean manufacturing weapons or targeting systems, possibly even armour and shielding, but it looks like it could be something more.
What do you all think? Sound off below on your theories and how this information affects it.
Edit: Let's not forget we've seen it on a weapon before.

Edit: As show in this post, FOTC stands for Forces of the City. Nice find, Kempolazer.
Ad astra.

Wow, that was a seriously awesome find by Kempolazar that put a good couple of months' guessing and speculation to ease. It's seeming a lot like it's just the designation for the City's formal military and the Guardians (e.g. UNSC, UESC) and DeeJ's response is even more evidence for this. It might include everything from weapons manufacturing, R&D, studying Traveler tech, coordinating offensives on the "frontier" planets, and the Guardians.
