Why no Destiny for the Wii U

To my understanding, the Wii U is similar in capabilities to the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Why is Destiny being released for those consoles, but not the Wii U?

Wiiu = Wii + Ipad mini. Its a bad console plus a apple-made apple knockoff. Wiiu is not worthy.
