Most used game sales aren't because people return games because they're bad...it's usually people returning really old games for money, so they can buy new games. [/quote] Also agree with this. I returned half of my DS games to buy a new one a while back, and I've traded in others towards pre-order bonuses.

If you bring a new copy up to the desk the employees there are instructed to try and persuade you to grab a used copy instead and considering the mentality of your average gamer they'll pick up the used copy over the new one when this happens almost every time. I mean, this isn't really a problem for Nintendo since developers always throw out low budget shovelware for their platform and as long as they break even they're good. However for other platforms whose games are typically much more expensive to produce, used game sales hurt a lot more.

Most used game sales aren't because people return games because they're bad...it's usually people returning really old games for money, so they can buy new games. And Nintendo is the last company that should be talking about "Make better games". They're on Mario 123 and Zelda 34 by now.....they haven't made a new IP in ages. They have a more repetitive selection of games than even COD, but people are blinded by nostalgia to say anything. The only good Mario game I've played in the past 10 years was Mario Galaxy. Tl;dr Shut the hell up Nintendo

Preach it Reg.

Exactly, this is the real problem. We need better games, not rushed garbage to meet a deadline and then sell you the other half of the game after it comes out.
