I just watched this old vid again, and it's crazy to me how much stuff we now take for granted with XBL games started in Halo 2. If anything, it makes it seem more likely that they'll be able to pull it off again (in terms of redefining online multiplayer) with Destiny.

Man.. This is so nostalgic for me. I remember playing HaloCE and doing system link games at my friends houses when I was 11. Waiting for this game to come out felt like an eternity. Spent a solid 2 years playing multiplayer for this. Favorite halo map will forever be lockout. I remember learning all the super bounces and crazy glitches for this game not to mention all the intentional easter eggs haha so fun. The community was great. Years later loading those old maps and walking through them alone and hearing all the sounds of the environments is such a sad feeling. I better stop before I get emo. rip halo 2. thanks for posting this. excited to see what bungie does with destiny.
