It seems like Nintendo doesn't get enough attention around here, so here's a thread.
Anyone here have a 3DS? I think it's the greatest handheld ever made so far, to be honest. Plus, having a 3D camera is pretty sweet.
What about a Wii U? Anyone have one of those? I've been thinking about getting one, but there aren't really any games for it that interest me enough to warrant buying the console.
Discuss Nintendo stuff here.

I love Nintendo. I just get tired of the Nintendo hate on this forum, but it's expected from a majority Xbox userbase.

I have to buy a Wii U this summer just so I can play Pikmin 3 before the school year starts in the fall. And then I'll have the console for when Super Smash Bros and the next Zelda game come rolling along!

I got the Wii U last Christmas as a last min gift idea. Only own two games for it currently, which is Super Mario Bros and ZombiU. Super Mario Bros was fun for awhile, but it's repetitive. ZombiU was fun at first as well, but it's overly hard. Not enjoyable hard either like when you want to keep at it and improve, it's frustrating hard that after an hour, you've had enough. I own a 3DS too but I only really buy the handhelds for Pokemon. I did buy Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS as well. Fun game, but it's now out for the 360. Wish I would have waited. I do plan on getting Animal Crossing New Leaf sometime this week for it though.

Although I haven't had a Nintendo system since my DS, I'm still a die hard Nintendo fanboy. I still have a wallet from GameStop that says "Power To The Players" with a hand gripping a NES controller. It's super faded though, I've had it since 2007. I plan on getting a 3DS soon though. Very excited for Super Smash Bros and Pokemon Y.

Picked up an 2001 Game cube with three controllers for $5 at a flea market... but ended up paying an additional $15 for SW: Bounty Hunter at GameXchange.

Who needs a WiiU when you've got a 3DS?
-
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is the only reason I need to pick up a WiiU by the end of the year.

Nintendo has managed to convince me to purchase a 3DS. New Smash Bros, Mario, & Zelda woooooot! All they need now is to release an original Starfox game in the style of 64.

I had the pleasure of calling Nintendo my first gaming-related employer just a few weeks ago. Although my job was to promote the system, and I was paid to say all this stuff I truly believe it, Nintendo systems offer the best in room, social, entertainment. The Wii U is an absolutely amazing system as far as fun is concerned. I would consider myself a hardcore gamer, the games I play are Halo, Gears, CS:S, etc. However I find it easy to say that the most fun I've had gaming has been on the Wii U at that job. Playing with four other people, holding the Gampad remote, controlling and guiding a multiplayer game between the four is a great time. The types of games Nintendo makes might not be the type of game you can sit down by yourself and log 100+ hours, ranking up and building your online personna, but damnit they're fun when you're with some friends. The 3DS as you mentioned is really something that hasn't stopped blowing me away. I don't own one myself, and I always find myself wishing I could pick up a copy of an old favourite and play it. I really have to go get one. Nintendo might have fallen out of the eyes of the gaming community, and it may not be a giant in gaming. I think that they will survive as a provider of living room entertainment. If you have a group of friends that always come over to play games I say a Wii U is the best console you can buy. People may be reluctant to pick it up at first, but I haven't seen anyone leave the console without a smile.

Edited by ajiru: 6/13/2013 12:37:08 AMThe new Zelda game, Windwaker HD remake, Mario Kart 8, and Super Smash Bros make me want a Wii U now.

Might buy a 3DS, for Smash Bros, Pokemon X and Y, and the new Zelda. Not interested in the Wii U until a brand new 3D Zelda comes out. With that and Smash Bros, the Wii U should be good. I wish the new 3D Mario game wasn't shit though...

Haven't bought a Nintendo console since N64, but I'm back on board this gen. I'll be picking up a WiiU sometime in the coming year. It's time to come back home to Nintendo. They've always been there for me even when I pushed them away. I love you Nintendo.
