Why is this intel cpu more expensive than this AMD cpu?
I currently have a custom computer with this [url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727]AMD cpu[/url].
A friend of mine is asking for advice on a CPU but wants Intel brand, I found [url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115232]this one[/url] with similar specs (cores, frequency, cache) to the AMD chip, but it costs $100 more. Why?
Also any recommendations are welcome

2 RepliesIntel has a better Architecture. The intel cpu out performs the AMD cpu by miles. The AMD cpus is still great though. Really great processor but the intel one is better.
