I'm thinking of starting a private group, and I want to know how many people are interested. If you are interested, send me a PM, because I can bet there's gonna be a ton of childish troll responses.
The goal? Teaming up to make ourselves look much better on Twitter and Facebook. I'm gonna use Twitter as an example.
First off, we all are going to follow each other on Twitter. This is going to increase our followers, making us all look a lot more popular.
Then, we can use the group to get specific things done. Say you want it to look like you got more retweets in a tweet, or would like more favorites. Just make a thread saying, "Hey, can you all favorite this tweet?" and we all will. Again, this will make you look more funny and popular.
Lol, and inb4 all you "forum cool kids" come in here and say "Wow, this is so pathetic and sad" "OP is pathetic".
Truth is, a lot of people get impressed when they see someone has a lot of followers, or has a ton of favorites on their tweets. Making a bunch of accounts won't work, as people will click them and see "Oh, this person is only following you, it must be an alt account lol you're sad". Following all those "Followback" accounts makes you look desperate as well (which you may be, but we don't want to show that).
So yeah. PM me if you're interested.

anyone who joins is as shallow as the crater made from throwing a potato at the ground.

I find this quite relevant.

Twitter and Facebook are real life?
-
Oh, this person is only following you, it must be an alt account lol you're sad"
That's not the only thing that's sad. The saddest thing is that you think having a bunch of random people is going to impress the people that know you.
Lol, and inb4 all you "forum cool kids" come in here and say "Wow, this is so pathetic and sad" "OP is pathetic".
Why would I? You just said it for us.
-
Eh. No thank you.
The goal? Teaming up to make ourselves look much better on Twitter and Facebook. I'm gonna use Twitter as an example.
Why? What do you get out of by making you're self look more "popular" to a bunch of random people that don't give any -blam!-s about you? At the end of the day nothing changes for you.
Truth is, a lot of people get impressed when they see someone has a lot of followers, or has a ton of favorites on their tweets.
And those lots of people are just random people that you're never going to see in real life that don't give any -blam!-s for you. Having 100 random friends on Facebook is the same has having 10. A lot of those people you don't even talk to so they are pointless. This thread is just sad.

I watched that when I was a kid.
-
Wow man... just wow... This is by far the greatest beta thing i've ever seen. Going up on /b/eta thread.
-
This is pathetic.
-
Anyone?

For you, OP. You're more shallow than a beach at low tide.
-
good troll good job
-
This is pathetic, even by this website's standards
-
This popularity thing only works when tons of friends tweet/like/favourite things. It doesn't work when random strangers do it, and when the same amount of random strangers do it. And the same random strangers.

I'm popular.
