Im looking to buy a laptop for university. I know the new haswell chips are coming out around now, so I'm looking for those but there are barely any computers out with them atm. Do you guys have any recommendations? I want something that's top of the line, preferable with a dedicated graphics card.

Most of Haswell's upgrades were for graphical improvements in their integrated graphics offering. If you're looking for a dedicated graphics card in your laptop, then you would be fine with something like Ivy Bridge or Sandy Bridge. However, Haswell has integrated power monitoring (though it has a higher wattage usage this offsets that), and Ivy Bridge has the lowest base power consumption of the three. Also, are you looking for mobility, or a desktop replacement?
