Destiny's Gameplay better be revolutionary
Because honestly right now, it's looking a little generic. Standard space stuff, with sci-fi elements that don't look anything special. Monsters look pretty uninspired as well.

Everyone should make topics lowering people's expectations of Destiny, so when it comes out everyone's head will explode due to unprepared exposure to extreme levels of awesomeness! Wait, I'm raising expectations right now.... Crap.

I actually thought the enemies looked very original and intricate (save for the Hive, but that's okay because most people like zombies) I'm loving that the classes are inspired from the likes of standard Fantasy games of old (looking at Diablo here) and the idea of getting to explore at least a few planets/moons in our solar system (with the added idea that Venus is actually a jungle planet) make for some fantastic fictional elements in my opinion. I think everything we've seen looks top-notch. Alas, this is just me.

Not sure how revolutionary the gameplay will be, but I think that the social system and the 'shared world' could be pretty revolutionary, provided Bungie pull it off right. Which they will. They're Bungie, after all.

Uninspired? Not to rustle your jimmies sir but we have 4 armed spider pirates that quad wield pistols and electric swords. I guess you could say uninspired, or you could say original.

3 RepliesI thought the same thing- about how it looks like more Halo, but with more options and some magic and... Well, I enjoyed pretty much every Bungie game I played. Except for Oni... But I won't get into that... Personally, I love sci fi! So this just seem like it will be a good fit for me. I do, however, really, really wish this game would have gone with more RPG elements. That's just me though. I love RPG's.
