Does Destiny have a chance of being an Esport?
I know it's early and there's not much information on the topic right now, but do you think Destiny will have a chance of being an Esport considering Bungies past with Halo or more of a social game?

3 RepliesIf by e-sports you mean unemployed, socially awkward, and overweight gamers with anger issues and dirty dirty moustaches playing competitive multiplayer, then yes there will be e-sports, unfortunately.

Given that Bungie seems to be advertising it as a more coop-focused venture than Halo, I'm going to guess no.

Nothing has really been shown of PvP so it's not really possible to say if that's something they're pushing for. I think though, that they have the talent to make a game balanced for Esports.
