Do you buy popcorn and candy or do you just go watch the movie?
I usually just watch the movie and eat something afterwards. $6 popcorn doesn't seem worth it to me. How about you? If you say yes then what is your favorite theater food to munch on?
-
Popcorn if someone else is buying.... if not... I'm a cheap bastard. No nothing except movie.
-
Usually just a drink. Or I take some of my chicken wings in with me.
-
Popcorn always, sometimes drinks, never candy
-
Popcorn, starburst, or skittles.
-
If I have some cash to spare, yes.
-
Once in a while i'll buy popcorn if im craving it. But I never buy candy or drinks.
-
Hell no. I bring my own drink and candy.

Edited by NaLo: 6/7/2013 8:34:40 PMI usually buy some candy and a soda at a nearby grocery store. Because here in Sweden you can bring your own snacks! Your not allowed to bring food though.
-
What is it...like $4 for Sour Patch Kids? :(
-
I love popcorn, especially movie theater popcorn. So, yeah -- can't resist (although I rarely ever go to movie theaters).
-
Yeah. The movies near here have this deal, where you buy a popcorn, drink, candy and you get a free movie all for $20 which is pretty damn good considering the price of a regular movie is like $15.
-
I'm already throwing down 14 bucks for a ticket, so no way.
-
Never.
-
Small popcorn and drink sometimes. Some theaters around here have started serving beer and stuff which is pretty cool. Obviously expensive though.
-
Not often, but when I do snow caps FTW.
-
Hilariously enough, you can easily smuggle in food if you can act natural. My friend openly ate McDonald's fries in front of everyone while I was ordering a soda, then walked into the movie with them in hand and nobody noticed because he was so incredibly casual about it.
-
Sometimes, it's rarity as it is for me to go to the movies, so it's even more of a rarity to get myself some popcorn and a drink. I don't buy it bot because I think it's over priced or anything, but because I usually eat somewhere before/after the movie.
-
Usually no, I don't buy anything besides my movie ticket. However, on the rare occasion I do want to snack on something, I smuggle it in.

Edited by M37h3w3: 6/7/2013 12:18:16 AMNo. It's incredibly overpriced. Not to mention that they are now nickel and diming you on top of it. Last time I went it was to see Into Darkness and I bought a large popcorn to share with my father, we got there early so we were munching on it while we were waiting, before the movie started I popped out to have them top me off since roughly half of it was gone. After the movie I went to get the free refill you get for getting a large popcorn and it turns out they counted that half fill as a full refill. Then there's the numerous times where I've gone to see a showing, don't see it on the billboard and ask for the next closest time and have to fork over and extra three bucks because it's in 3D only to discover that the showing I was originally there for was actually playing. Now I feel justified in smuggling in my own candy. Was doing it before because it was just overpriced but frankly, -blam!- Hollywood.
-
Usually just buy popcorn. I sneak in a few waters usually to drink.
-
Theater snacks are equally terrible for you; I sneak in raw nuts sometimes though.
-
At my movie theater, large pocorn(you can fit 4 2-liter soda bottles in it) is $6.50, where do they charge $5.00 and more for a small??????
-
Ill buy popcorn but I smuggle my own beverages lol
-
No. It's all a rip-off. I take my own.
-
Only when I'm hungry. I usually sneak in my own food. The jack the shit out of those prices. 5.50 for a small popcorn? Bitch -blam!- that shit.
-
I sometimes do.
