T4R. Entirety of ME universe (Not Reapers or Collectors, just the Protagonist species including the Rachni) ground forces vs. the entirety of the Covenant ground forces. No Space ships or orbital bombardments.

Mass Effect has an advantage in versatility, between various advanced weaponry, biotics and tech powers, as well as a larger army with more races (I think) against enemies that effectively amount to an army of soldier class. I still struggle to believe the Covenant's weapons are inferior to their ME counterparts, but suffice it to say that ME's guns are more advanced than (most) of the UNSC's. As the Covenant I'd make liberal use of Drone swarms. Their plasma and needle weapons would control the skies, an otherwise impossible notion if no spaceships also includes fighters and Banshees. But to answer the question I don't know who'd win. ME has versatility and advanced weapons, in which the Covies aren't complete pushovers, and the Covies have sky control by default. I don't get the notion that it'd be a curbstomp in ME's favor, but I could see it swinging their way.

*ignores body* Well, Covenant versus forces made entirely of OP? OP wins

James right bicep, by itself, is worth 4 Sanghieli Warrior Creches

Soldiers can react faster, techs have a noob combo with one gun, and biotics outstrip any melee enemy. It wouldn't even be close.
-
ME basically have the force don't they? That says it all.

Wait for Roberto. Then it'll get interesting.
-
Mass Effect, especially if they had Geth forces or any biotics.
-
Covenant and UNSC would be a better poll
-
Covies might win through numbers, but ME would wipe the floor in a ground battle with them on regular terms. Yes, plasma would be rather effective against kinetic barriers and cyclonic shields, but still, until the Covies have the ability to use the force, they're outclassed.

James Heller solos.

Joke post? ME stomps, hard. Very hard.
