Hey guys! I'm sure you all have seen the wolf pack trailer for Destiny, most of you probably went over every single scene, trying to glean any info possible from the trailer. I come to you today to bring you a key tid-bit of insight. There is a ship with blue lights flying over the city in the distance. Now, there could be several possible interpretations of this ship: one could be that we are simply allowed to fly our ships in certain instanced areas. However, due to the number of players, I doubt the will be possibly because of overcrowding. Or could could mean that there is some sort of payed transport system in Destiny, comparable to the Gryphon system of WoW, and other such MMO's, that would get you from point A to point B. Tell me what you guys think of this detail! Could it mean something big? Or nothing at all?

I think it's just scenery, and won't play a key role. In my opinion, spaceships are simply for showing off in hangars and play an excuse for map jumping.

There shouldn't be overcrowding, I remember in one of the videos they released it said that it wasn't going to be a true MMO, and that there won't be a ton of other players running around in your game. Don't quote me on it, but I am pretty sure about it. I'll try to get a source later.

It will just be for transporting you around the city

My mind keeps bringing me to futurama

Or it's just a ship that is transporting food to the local McDonald's…. I am hoping for in atmosphere flight but this is a very inconclusive example.

I doubt that we'll be able to jump into our ships and fly wherever. I don't think the game will be that open world... Space is a different matter, but still.

Maybe it's somebody landing since we get our own ships that's why it's a hanger to show off your ship and stuff.

That is actually the first thing I noticed and I was very interested in it. Maybe transportation from place to place like middle of the city to the wall or something
