Would you enjoy having a Title Bar/Forum Rank?
For those of you who are new;
Before Bungie.next happened, there was a Title Bar system here on the forums.
Member -> Heroic Member -> Legendary Member -> Mythic Member
These bars were influenced by a "magic" trust system, going by bans, warnings, and account age. Along with the titles, there were some prefixes that reflected post counts and recent moderation history; Honorable, Veteran, Noble, Senior, Elder, Intrepid, Fables, Exalted, and Absent. These questions are for those new and old; Would you like to see the return of the title bar system?
Would this add incentive for you to be a "better" member?
Would you like new titles and prefixes to reflect Likes, Dislikes, Hides and Mutes?
Would you like Private Groups to have customizable titles?
Why or Why not?
Please weigh in on the subject.

4 RepliesI'd rather not know the person I'm responding to has a high post count, or has been here a long time. I'd rather strike up a good conversation as equals and go off of the name reputation, instead of titles and whatnots.

I miss the old bungie.net alot back in the halo era i used to come on here everyday and now not so much. Im trying to become active again

and maybe badges too? Maybe? If our Bungie profiles are ever link to destiny or any of the other bungie games and if Bungie ever host certain special events in the game which can earn us some badges that we can proudly display them here as well? how bout that?

I'm an Exalted Mythic member, and a lack of a blue bar will never change that.

Yeah, I want to get by bar back to rub in other people's faces. More seriously though, I do think that they had some positive effect on member retention.

Why not? I enjoyed it quite a bit. I still don't know how on Earth I became a legendary member, though. Perhaps some new titles could be introduced, too. :-)

We probably don't have the Heroic-Legendary-Mythic system because [i]Bungie doesn't make Halo anymore[/i]. We'll probably see Destiny themed titles come out in the near future.

I really miss the private group titles, that's about it. They made the private group experience really cool and personal.

I don't mind not having them, but I thought Bungie's titles were unique among other forums and were a testament to the creativity of the web team.
