Would anyone like to see a return of Forum Titles?
Before the switch to this new Twitter'fied Bungie.net, Titles were a way of standing out and seperating yourself out from the crowd and showing your love and dedication for the site. Also you knew if someone was Legendary or Mythic member they generally knew what they were talking about.
Strangely it didnt usually turn into forum wars over who had the highest rank either. Most people never even acknowledged it but more tacitly agreed that you a BAMF if you were rockin that sexy dark blue title bar.
So anyone else want a return of the title? I for one would love it!
Like,Follow,comment or whatever they say at the bottom of youtube video's now.

Personally, I don't really mind. During the Beta for the site it was stated that the titles would return in time, we just have to wait. Patience.

1 ReplyNo. They were useless back then, but at least they meant something. Something very small, but still something. You either posted a lot, never got banned, or both. Now, all you really CAN do is post a lot. No one gets banned anymore enough so that NOT getting banned should be considered a virtue.

Ah it would be nice to see something to show we are old or loyal or whatever..... but ultimately the forum has been doing fine without them. They'd be a nice little treat, nothing more than that.

8 RepliesHuh I don't think you know that titles meant? Just because someone was a Mythic member didn't mean they knew what they were talking about. If anything it meant they were around for a long time without being banned or warned for the most part. Acting like someone was right because they had a blue title bar is not the way to use a forum. If anything OP the whole title system was a good way to make it easier to see which members were new and more likely a troll and it also made it easier to spot some members while scrolling through a thread. In the end if you post a lot and are here often people know who you are which means you don't need a fancy title bar in order to do that for you especially since you can follow people now.

Yes. They should bring back the same old system without switching everything up, however they could expand on a few things though. Definitely keep Member Dark Gray<Heroic Gray<Legendary Light Gray<Mythic Blue system. That's just a part of this community they shouldn't mess with.
