Their Razer Blade keynote is above.
Quick run down of some of the upgrades.
-Upgraded the CPU from a 37 watt Ivy Bridge i7 to a 47 watt Hasewell i7. No specifics have been released yet.
-Upgraded the GPU from an Nvidia 660M to a 750M.
-Upgraded battery from a 60 hour watt battery to a 74 hour watt battery. About 25% increase in battery life.
-The new Razer Blade is 2X faster than its predecessor.
-Kept the 0.88" thinness of its predecessor.
-Enhanced SBUI (Switch Blade UI) with apps for Facebook, YouTube, multiple games, UDK, Photoshop, Maya, etc. You can use these apps while playing video games due to the Blade's touchscreen.
-Aluminum body
-Retail price is $2300 vs $2500 from the last generation vs $2800 from the original Blade.
All in all, the Blade seems like an awesome little gaming laptop, except for that outrageous price, but I can kinda see why it's that expensive.
So what are your thoughts on the new Razer Blade?
