I think it would bring a lot more diversity to Destiny if Bungie added same sex marriage. I would like to wander around the safe areas in third person with my gay husband. Embarking on a great adventure with the person you love hand in hand would be the greatest experience ever.

If a marriage system is included in the game (and I sort of doubt it will be) I see no reason why there shouldn't be same sex marriages. If the near extinction of our entire species, the constant threat of annihilation by alien invaders and the general struggle to survive doesn't get people past all this "worrying about the small stuff"...... Well there may not be much hope for us. If the argument against is "that's not why i'm here", well don't get married to anyone in game. Much the same rules apply in game as in real life. If you don't want to get married than don't, and in the words of Whoopi Goldberg: "If you're against gay marriage than don't marry a gay guy, its that simple". For my own part even if the game allows marriage I would not partake in that particular system. I have a wife, she isn't going to play but I have no intention of saying those or similar vows to anyone else. Even if it is just for fun/pretend/whatever. That does not mean however that I would presume to tell others that they should feel the same (and that doesn't even touch on real world couples wanting to marry in game).

Destiny is not that type of game relationships aren't built around it. But that won't people online creating realationships with people.

What is with all the troll threads today?

I don't think they will even include relationships, let alone getting married... And then GAY marriage is a whole different story... Yeah, it won't happen.

I honestly doubt that Destiny will include something like this anyway.

I don't think they'll have relationships at all.
