Do you play any instruments? I play the drums and have benefit eight years, majority of that being self-taught.
What are some of your accomplishments? Have you made, remixed, or covered any sings? I plan on covering about one dozen, ranging from As I Lay Dying to Lamb of God and everywhere in between.

Edited by Oneironaut: 6/2/2013 7:35:27 AMI've been playing guitar for a year (I really wish I started sooner instead of ignoring the unused guitar that had been around me since 2007). Anyway, I can't play most of the songs I know completely yet due to multiple reasons depending on the song, i.e. being lazy, song is too difficult/beyond my current skill level and primarily lacking confidence in whatever skill I do have. Songs I know (at least bits and pieces) Seek and Destroy (can play everything but outro) Am I Evil? (can play intro including hammer on/pull of part and main riff) Jump in the Fire (intro, main riff, and rhythm part during the solo) The Four Horsemen (bits and pieces) Metal Militia (intro and the part before the chorus (I'm derping right now and forgetting what the part is called) For Whom the Bell Tolls (bits and pieces, the song is really easy, but I can be pretty damn lazy) Symphony of Destruction (intro and main riff) The Right to Go Insane (intro and a bit of the main riff) World Painted Blood (intro, main riff and a bit of the chorus. Oh and the rhythm part during the solo) Crystal Mountain (can play up till the solo) Blood and Thunder (can kind of play the intro) DOA (intro, main riff, and so of the rhythm section, but none of it up to full speed) personally I think the song might be a bit sped up. Then again, maybe it's just my lack of skill Mirror Mirror (can't play certain rhythm parts yet) Becoming the Bull (intro, main riff and a bit of the chorus. Can't do the pinch harmonics that good though) Disengage (I only really like/play the intro though, as I actually don't like Suicide Silence) Possum Kingdom (I don't remember what I can play with that song) X-men theme (I'm not satisfied with how I play it though) Trigun theme (intro and a bit of the main riff, just not up to full speed) Some parts from Hammer Smashed face (not very well though) The Intro to Thunderstruck (not that well though) Smoke on the Water (literally no excuse as to why i can't play that in full other than pure laziness) Aquatic Ambiance from Donkey Kong (just the intro and a few parts after it) Together We Ride from SSBM (The song is actual pretty easy, but I mess up on the verse a lot) Songs that I can play in full: Green Hill zone from Sonic Lost Woods from OoT Yoshi's story theme I know, I'm pathetic... As for stiff I've created, I have a handful of different riffs and stuff, but don't know where to go with them. I also play around with tapping sometimes. Once I get a better guitar, I'm going to get more serious and relearn everything that I can do so far.

I'm a drummer as well, i've been playing for about seven years. i play mostly metal, i've even written and recorded an original song with my friend who's a guitar player (it was for an english project). and i'm getting a recording setup for graduation so i plan on covering various songs over the summer ranging from metallica to slayer, all the way to strapping young lad and amon amarth

Edited by defenderofgo: 6/2/2013 6:01:11 AMPiano and drums mainly, both self-taught. I also played sax for 9 years, but I haven't picked that up in a while. I used to be in a death metal band in high school, but we broke up about 4 years ago when we all started college. Currently I compose for myself, I took a few music theory classes and some jazz history classes.

I play the smoke machine.

I play bass guitar and regular guitar (they're pretty different actually) and I have performed outside of AT&T park in SF with some friends. I'm still relatively new to music, though. I only really got into it about 3 years ago.
