It's happened. What must they have said? Did a Ninja do this or a Bungie employee?

I saw too...it has begun.

This is a change from the old ban system. The previous ban system would hide all of a member's postings while they were banned, and unhide them when the ban expired. I am sure that you can see the potential flaw in that system. Now, when a post (or OP) gets reported/muted/hidden with reasons other than "meh", and the reports are adjudged as accurate, the member is banned and the post is removed. Forever. Their other posts are not hidden (there's discussion about refining that) but the reported one? Gone forever. Even after the ban is over. And that is the difference between then and now.

Edited by Spawn: 5/27/2013 3:04:45 PM
Did a Ninja do this or a Bungie employee?
The automated ban system managed by the webteam. It's what happens when a post is "banned". Enough people reported and it was sent to the ninjas for review and they passed the bill.

I think DeeJ was the first to do that to a post, back when the site first switched.
-
Oh, I've seen that a few times. I wonder how bad something must be for the Ninjas to block a post.
-
You don't wanna see those on your posts. Bungie will have tabs on ya and not in a good way.

Edited by ΔV: 5/27/2013 5:26:55 AMI'm sure it was a ninja. But whatever it was must of been a big red flag.
