You were my childhood.

Congrats on manipulating the system, friend.
-
I first read Calvin and Hobbes in 5th grade. I still read them from time to time to this day. :)
-
Bring back calvin and hobbes. NOW.
-
I read every single one of those comics at least twice.

My feels...
-
I really miss that spiky haired kid.

Amen, brother, amen.

So true.

Edited by Decimator Omega: 5/26/2013 6:03:02 AMI still read Calvin and Hobbes from time to time. Since tomorrow is Sunday, I think I'll read The Lazy Sunday one.

Edited by Saxoclone: 5/26/2013 7:04:13 AMI have a bunch of the treasuries, which I've been reading since I was probably six years old. The last strip of the treasury "It's A Magical World" was one of my favorites. "It's a magical world, Hobbes ol' buddy. Let's go exploring!" It just seemed so... perfect. Then one day, on a whim, I googled the last Calvin and Hobbes strip ever published. I can't look at that strip the same way anymore. It was such a beautiful end.

Speaking objectively, Calvin and Hobbes is the single best comic strip ever created. Obviously.
-
Calvin and Hobbes enthralled my imagination as a child, and is likely responsible for my respect and admiration of a well-developed vocabulary. Bill Wat*t*erson is a great man who chose not to water down and defeat the meaningful subtexts of C&H through licensing and empire-building. I fully agree. You, sir, earn a follower this day.

Edited by Carbonite: 5/26/2013 8:11:04 AMBy that logic, all of history is pointless, and you're an idiot who thinks a three panel comic actually makes a point against something.
-
Someone needs to make a movie of this already. ANIMATED, NOT LIVE ACTION.
-
Calvin and Hobbes and Bloom County are my favorites.
-
Man I love Calvin and Hobbes. I think I have every compilation book.
-
Which is really the primary purpose of education; learning to critically manipulate the system to garner results that benefit and "enrich" your life. Alas, the moral of the strip is not lost on me.
-
I read Calvin and hobbes all the time when I was a kid. I still read it sometimes.

Edited by DE4THINC4RN4TE: 5/26/2013 6:22:24 AMCalvin and Hobbes. It saddens me he doesn't make these any more. Aside from being amusing they were always that underlying tone going on in them. Loved it so much.
