I doubt that a dragon really appeared on your porch. This is likely some sort of contextual put on. Like, a reference to something, that one can only get if they're in on the joke, or series of jokes. As such, I'm just going to guess that this is one of those situations, and probably never trust anything you say, ever again. If I am wrong and there is a dragon on your porch, my apologies.
