It sucks to be different sometimes, even when people accept differences. It gets even worse when people don't accept differences. Sometimes you can be so different it you can't even function with your peers, so why do almost everything thing to do with childhood development says its ok to be different? Be honest flood.
If you can't function with the majority, then people won't really be fond of you. Extra precautions and special cases have to be arranged because of your differences, slowing down the progress of the crowd. You're just a nuisance. I'm not saying you have to be a cardboard cutout of your peers, but it can be extremely beneficial to just have a more than a few things similar with the majority of people you interact with.
