Most FPSs have the normal hop when running and gunning, a simple jump that can clear so much space. Games like Crysis, BF3, and COD have incorporated a slide movement on top of a jump and climbing over obstacles animation. Even Skyrim has simple heave ho over the rocks you go. Now here's a chance opportunity for Bungie to try something else for Destiny that sets it above the other FPSs.
When playing Prototype2 I noted the unique jump used by the player. A flip over the enemy allowing an attack within the process. This might be a great jump that can be unlocked or leveled by the Titan or Hunter class when in combat with the Ai. Sort of a upward evade motion.
So would you want a flamboyant jump option, the ability to clear obstacles as in BF3, or just keep it simple?

Overall I think evasive movements like rolls and jumps would make for very dynamic and cool combat. Of course this shouldn't be too OP because then you'll just see guardians Chris-Browning their way through hordes of enemies all the time, which would be a pretty lame sight. But let's say a small group of guardians are in a firefight and things are going sour for them, they spot a hunter hidden among one of the flanks of the enemy forces. A titan throws a few grenades as a distraction and then the hunter swoops in and combos their way through the enemy, providing the group with enough distraction to come out of cover and win the battle.
