Your parents have become possessed by an evil force
They have the potential to exterminate the human race. You and your siblings(if any) are the only ones who can stop them. Their state of mind cannot reversed but killing them is not the only option. You could try to restrain them permanently but it would cause colossal devastation to the world. Could you stop them? How would you do this?
