With all of this talk of "creating your own Bungie.net" and the 'laxed rules, combined with the ability to hold pretty much whatever discussions you want, I've started thinking.
What if Bungie.next is a social experiment, designed to pre-empt player behaviour in Destiny? If we are given the reigns to our own stories, as we (kind of) are these forums (or, hashtags, sorry), would it not make sense that we would treat such freedoms the same way we do on BNext? What if all of these controversial threads are a way of Bungie being able to predict player cults within the world of Destiny? What if those who push the boundaries on the site are those Bungie expects to push the boundaries in-game?
I have no idea which category out of the Flood, Destiny and Community to put this in, so I'll just leave it for those drinking from the firehose. Try not to ingest too much of that toxic watery goodness.
