What console had the best default controller (the one that it came with)?
I would go with 360. Very durable, good layout, easy to connect.

Gamecube. Period.
-
Either the NES dogbone or the Original Fatty Xbox controller.
-
I love my DS3.
-
Ignoring shooters, the Gamecube controller. Other than that, the 360 controller is the best.
-
360, although I use a Razer Onza 360 controller. It feels so... snug
-
I'm by far more used to PS controllers. I've been playing PS for 11 years.
-
If you don't say 360 you're wrong.
-
Xbox 360 I love it! I hope it stays the same for the 720! Playstation controllers suck ass! They make my hands cramp after a hour of game play
-
Xbox 360 has the best controller IMO. It works well with FPS games, racing games, and fighting games. With the exception of the battery life and D-pad, its an excellent controller.
-
Definitely the 360 controller, the GameCube's is a very close second though.
-
The 360 controller, apart from the D-pad.
-
The Duke. Lol jk. The 360's is the best imo. Found both the dualshock and gamecube ones to be way too small.

Edited by Smarkdow: 5/18/2013 2:33:06 AMGenesis controller. It fits in your hand perfectly, the buttons feel nice, and the D-pad is hands-down the best D-pad ever made. Only problem is that it fighting games are unplayable on it, which is why Sega later made this controller.

Dreamcast.

Edited by Mystical: 5/18/2013 1:45:54 AM360 controller. Works so well with pc games as well. I will say though after many controllers I've tried 3rd party wise the Razer Sabertooth is pretty nice.

Vectrex anyone? The NES Advantage was epic. It was built like a brick.
-
360, absolutely hands down. PS4 is just gimmicky, and you can't see the lights, and the touchpad won't offer anything, besides being scratched and adding weight. X360 is weighted nicely, has comfortable triggers, and is durable. Hopefully the nextbox will feature something even better (somehow) or just keep things the same, just adding a couple of things. Perhaps more than 4 local players! Who knows! (microsoft ofc :D)

360 controller >>>>>>

360 Controller by far, the ps one is too small to utilise. Although i really wish that the 360's controller had a D-pad similar to the ps's directional arrows. That circle thing never works for me.
-
I'd say the 360's controller. Microsoft really knocked it out of the park with that comfortable ergonomic design.
-
I stand by the 360 controller, but it would be better, if it's LB-LT and RB-RT would be more apart, just like the PS3's.
-
DualShock 3
-
I'd have to say the 360's controller is the most intuitive and easy to handle.
-
Super Nintendo.
-
360 by far.
