I'm in high school, and apparently my school is AAA?
And there are other AAA schools in my county, along with AA?
Can someone here tell me what this means? I know it's related to sports in some way

My school has a bunch of immigrants in it who bumped us up to a 3A school. Really sucks. The competition in 2A is so much worse. Our teams are also generally much smaller than other 3A schools.

It goes from large sports league schools like the BIG10 schools to AAAA schools. BIG10 schools are highly affiliated and successful sports schools, AA have a lot of sports programs, but like to focus a little bit more on academics ideally, but these days that really isn't the case anymore. It goes so on and so on with AAA and AAAA.

That is based on your school size. It ranges from A to AAAA. My school is AAAA which is the biggest

You mean 3A by AAA, then that is your high school classification. Your high school's level (1A and up) is usually determined by area or population. This is used in sports to determine what teams are in your conference (teams that you face in your area), region (schools that you face that have to the same classification as your school, but are too far away for efficient travel) and state (teams that you face from around your state that have your classification). Some sports in your school may have different classifications based on who they want to face.

No idea. I assume its like "groups". Every state is different though. In my state (New jersey) we had Group 1-4 schools.
