If you could go back to the past when Jason Jones was just getting started what would you tell him about the future of Bungie? What Bungie games would you show him and talk about?
-
In the Future, you will grow a large ego and believe yourself to be a better writer than Joseph Staten. Joseph Staten and Marty O’Donnell know what they’re doing. Do whatever you can to keep them. Also don’t sign anything with Activision or EA games. Probably stick with Microsoft. Just ask for more freedom. Also, don’t hire Luke Smith.

I'd tell him not to get 343 to take over, cos obviously it would mean Halo's downfall. Just see whatever 343's changed from what Bungie made so "Ancient, alien and epic". They changed everything. From weapon sounds to abilities to map control and strategy... There's nothing else to do now in their shit games than to kill or be killed. It has no purpose anymore. Bungie, if ur seeing this, buy a copy of Halo 5: Guardians and u'll know ur worst mistake. U should've just stopped Halo at Halo: Reach, then everything'd be much better.

Beware the Myth 2 uninstall bug!
-
I would tell him to not hire some guy called Marty and instead get the amazing Jeremy Soule.
-
I'd get his autograph yo

Two words: Marathon. 4.

I would only tell him "Keep doing what you're doing"

Edited by darthrevan96: 7/4/2013 7:18:13 AMI believe time is set so if I went back and told him something I imagine history would repeat itself and what I told him would make all this possible. Therefore I'd give him an idea. I'd let him know why I was there and while he'd be skeptical I'd give him a set of steps. 7 Steps. I'd tell him that's the key to everything. 7. 7. 7. 7. 7. 7. 7. I'd put on headphones onto him every night and play the number over and over. Every seventh 7 it would say; "World Domination" I would do that for 7 hours and 7 days then go forward 7 weeks and do it again for 7 more days. This process would repeat itself 7 times. Then I'd return to my time. Reveling in the success of my mission.

"Hey Jason, about 8 years from now you'll be making some sweet games. Only thing is your games are literally going to destroy people's computers. Make sure you test the uninstall features on your games. Oh yeah, and there's this company called Microsoft. Tell them 'no deal.'"
-
I'd tell him absolutely nothing, because it may cascade into something like Destiny never being made.
-
Edited by ROFL Wolf1254: 5/28/2013 7:34:44 PMI'd give him a beer and tell him "Good luck with your company, I've got a feeling you guys are gonna change the world!" Then hopefully he'd give me a Bungie shirt and I'd leave smiling knowing I just met one hell of a game maker :)
-
I wouldn't tell him a thing. But if I had to tell him something I would tell him to plz gave meh flaming reacon hamlet.
-
Id tell him to make sure Forerunner tank made it in halo 2
-
Don't forget to walk Ling-Ling.
-
Do NOT scrap the idea to put Gnop in the Halo 2 blue screen; an entire generation could have grown up way more chill if you did.
-
"The Halo 2 engine you're showing off at e3 won't work on the Xbox! The Halo 2 engine you're showing off at e3 will not work on the Xbox!!"
-
I would tell him about the Myth 2 installer bug.
-
Don't stop kicking ass. Not ever.

Edited by Commander Tempu: 5/15/2013 5:35:05 PMThey had to deal and Jason Jones did the right thing. They probably fix that order of one million copies they had to take back that got them into financial trouble in the first place if i went back and told them. I love you H2 special disk. Every one makes mistakes and Bungie pulled out in seven years not many are able to do that.

The guy is barely 40 years old . . . hardly past his prime.
